Zones, not isolated arrows

TMS-PAD highlights areas where orderflow and price behavior leave notable traces. A zone is not an automatic entry. It is a context, reaction, or retest area.

Not a standalone trade signal

TMS-PAD is an analysis tool. Individual zones, colors, or labels do not replace context analysis, risk management, or your own decision-making.

What the indicator makes visible

Absorption

Buy absorption in the upper wick and sell absorption in the lower wick highlight failed aggressive attacks at extremes.

Imbalance clusters

Stacked buy or sell imbalances show one-sided aggressive orderflow and potential continuation or retest areas.

Single Prints

Price levels with zero volume on one footprint side become visible as inefficient fast-move areas.

Unfinished Auctions

Highs or lows with opposite-side volume are marked as auction areas that were not cleanly completed.

Important workflow filters

  • Use closed bars only reduces live-bar flicker.
  • Min absorption delta and Min wick ticks make absorption zones more selective.
  • Imbalance factor and Min consecutive imbalances separate isolated imbalances from clusters.
  • Stop zones on touch and Max zones to keep keep the chart readable.

Read typical market phases

  • Healthy trend: imbalances appear mostly in trend direction.
  • Trend loses strength: absorption appears at the extreme against the current move.
  • Range or chop: many small zones alternate closely.
  • Breakout with acceptance: imbalance clusters in breakout direction and little counter-absorption.
  • Fakeout risk: single prints or imbalances are traded back quickly and absorption appears at the extreme.

3 practical playbooks

The playbooks put the same PAD zones into different market mechanics: reversal, continuation, and auction repair.

1. TMS Absorption Reversal

Assess reversal situations when an aggressive attack fails at a relevant level.

2. TMS Imbalance Continuation

Trade trend continuations and pullbacks when stacked imbalances show real acceptance.

3. TMS Auction Repair

Use single prints and unfinished auctions as repair, retest, or reaction areas.
